We are looking for a Hadoop Consultant to assist in maintaining and operating the MapR flavor of the Hadoop ecosystem. The consultant will work on automation pipelines, package upgrades, troubleshooting operations issues, and providing user support. Additionally, the role includes participation in an on-call rotation every three weeks.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain and operate Hadoop infrastructure (MapR flavor) to ensure high availability.
* Develop and manage automation pipelines for package upgrades and deployments.
* Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to the Hadoop ecosystem.
* Provide user support for various use cases and resolve tickets efficiently.
* Ensure system reliability and performance monitoring.
* Participate in on-call rotation (every three weeks).
