Job description:
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements from clients or internal stakeholders
- Mapping current processes and identifying weak points or opportunities for improvement
- Creating business documentation (use cases, process diagrams, functional specifications)
- Collaborating with UI/UX designers on defining user scenarios and wireframes
- Prioritizing requirements based on business value, cost, and strategy
- Consulting with senior developers or architects on technical feasibility
- Close cooperation with the Delivery Manager on planning and distributing tasks into sprints/backlogs
- Presenting findings and proposed solutions to stakeholders
Main value added:
- Conducting detailed business analysis and defining processes and needs
- Translating business requirements into understandable functions and scenarios for the development team
- Working closely with the Delivery Manager to define priorities, and with QA/documentation specialists to prepare specifications
Hard skills:
- Knowledge of business analysis methodologies (e.g. SBVR, BPMN, user stories, UML or other modeling techniques)
- Domain knowledge (experience with financial advisory processes or CRM systems is a plus)
- Data skills (basic understanding of databases, ability to request reports, analyze Excel files)
- Presentation skills: ability to create clear documents, use-case scenarios, and workflow diagrams
Soft skills:
- Strong communication and empathy: able to listen to users, ask the right questions, and refine requirements
- Analytical thinking: capable of breaking down complex topics into smaller logical units
- Prioritization skills: able to distinguish between critical business needs and “nice-to-have” features
- Attention to detail and patience: able to communicate effectively with both passive and demanding stakeholders
